PhD Nutrition Pharma Whey HT+ Review

PhD Nutrition Pharma Whey HT+ Review

– PhD Pharma Whey has been around for a while now on the UK market and PhD last year released an improved version of it’s protein shake with the addition of Hydrolysed Whey Protein Isolate with the ‘HT’ standing for Hydro Tech – 100% hydrolysed whey protein isolate.

Hydrolysed whey protein isolate improves how well the body absorbs whey protein making it an excellent whey protein for recovery post-workout and muscle growth.

The flavour I tried was the Chocolate Mint – not the most popular by all accounts with the Chocolate Cookie variant taking that crown. That said however I really liked the Chocolate Mint taste, it was a subtle mint flavour and smell, not at all overpowering and didn’t taste artificial.

PhD Nutrition Whey HT Review 4

Mixing is pretty easy and using just a shaker produces a frothy smooth consistency with very little in the way of glump & lumps. Generally speaking I prefer my shakes with skimmed milk but having tried PhD Nutrition Pharma Whey HT+ with both milk and water there was no really difference in taste quality.

There is a choice of Banana, Chocolate Cookie, Chocolate Mint, Chocolate Orange, Chocolate Peanut, Strawberry Cream,  and Vanilla Cream. It’s available in the following sizes 900g, 2.25kg, 3.5kg & 4.54kg.
