Kiki Health Hemp Protein Powder
Kiki Health Hemp Protein Powder
– So who are KIKI and what is KIKI Health Hemp Protein Powder?
Let’s start first with the brand, who I discovered before my break away and I have been itching to write about them and the two products they lovingly gifted to me ever since. The first product I am reviewing here is the Hemp Protein powder and the second review will be of their Organic Moringa Leaf powder which will be coming later.

About Hemp Protein Powder
Hemp’s reputation has grown rapidly over recent years as its health benefits continue to be explored. Hemp, which has been consumed for centuries, contains several essential nutrients for the body with one main benefit of eating hemp is that it provides protein.
Using hemp protein as a supplement offers these essential nutritional benefits, including vegetable protein, fibre, vitamin E, minerals (magnesium, potassium, calcium, iron, manganese, zinc, copper, platinum, phosphorus, sulphur, boron, nickel, germanium, tin, iodine, chromium, silver and lithium), trace elements, enzymes and lecithin, alpha, beta and gamma globulin, the fatty acid, GLA, and chlorophyll, yet is pleasingly free from gluten, making it perfectly suitable for those following a gluten free diet!
Hemp is also classed as a complete protein because it contains all eight essential amino acids in sufficient quantities to meet the body’s needs and is easily digestible being made up of two globular proteins destin & albumin. It’s low in saturated fat and contains essential fatty acids omega-3 & omega-6 in an optimal three-to-one ratio.
KIKI’s Hemp Protein Powder
The protein powder comes in a 400g tub priced at a very reasonable £12.50 including free delivery. 400g will give you roughly 13 servings, so just under two weeks if you’re using it everyday as part of your training and nutrition regime.
This is the bit I love, the list of ingredients. Basically it is only one ingredient, 100% raw hemp. Nothing else added, or needed – how good is that!?!
The powder itself is a dark moss green colour as you would probably expect it to be, it’s also a lot finer and softer (is that the right word to use?) than I imagined it to be. Mixing perfectly with my fruit juice or water – it doesn’t look so appealing with water but tastes just fine. You can of course add it to another powder supplement for a real good kick to your nutritional and protein intake if needed.
It has a nice natural earthy taste to it which I really like, no artificial flavorings that can taste chemically & leave a nasty after taste. It’s probably to the products credit that I don’t have much more to say about it, it is a 100% natural and raw so it what it is. Simple, straight forward and good.
I have never tried hemp protein powder before this review but having used it for the last two weeks, having now run out, I really like it. I can certainly understand the benefits of putting natural goodness into your body and as far as my training and results are concerned I have had no cause for complaint.
